a Wright McLemore Study… 1760s Edgecombe

I cannot find a definitive history of this guy online… perhaps the McLemore researchers will find this interesting.

This patent is on the White Oak Swamp in Edgecombe County, NC. He along with others had removed from Three Creeks in Southampton, VA… which was still Isle of Wight in 1746 when they sold out and moved out.

I give background info concerning his whereabouts in Isle of Wight at Three Creeks in this link…

There are references to several other McLemores who stayed in Southampton after the 1740s… see the Southampton transcripts from the Brantley Group online.
