Robert Gray clan of Edgecombe…

with one comment

A few of us have been tracking some deeds around the Walnut Creek area and I got entangled with some GRAY folks. Prior to his move to Edgecombe, Robert Gray was a sheriff in Surry Co., VA (1749).  I have not really studied the family other than this casual foray into some deeds. But as it might be of some interest to others, I offer this study for what it is worth.

Neanderthal

So I read this article…

Then I see this illustration by an artist who I suppose is from Spain…

neanderthal

I mean really… were there American Indians in Spain? Or did Clint Eastwood make a lasting impression with his “spaghetti western” movies like The Good, The Bad and The Ugly?

Can you imagine shaving your head with a piece of flint rock?  Or does that explain the red head?  Sorry… I’m in a weird mood today.
