So I would very much like to get my eyes on the digital original images of these early Isle of Wight files. In this case 1649. I cannot get back this early through Familysearch.org… any of you sneaks figured out a path? I have “some” files (sent to me by email) so I know they exist… I just need to get to the mother stash (you know…to like research n stuff).

  1. Are there any Indians indexed there? I recall there was definitely a 1745 record involving some characters in IoW…

    • I found the original patent he was granted… I want to compare the 2 deed descriptions.

The “record group” I want is the early Isle of Wight stuff… Familysearch only goes back to 1688. I want earlier….

  4. While this document I nabbed off the Internet Archive a while ago, regrettably there is no search capacity. Hope this helps. I cannot distinguish if this will populate or not but it is a pdf which I can forward on accordingly. Regards, Louisa
