some comments on Henry Anderson d.1801

Several years ago “Judy” and I exchanged emails concerning Henry Anderson, Jr. of Edgecombe.  To her goes all the credit for the Georgia information I have posted.  She is still actively researching and it sounds like she is about to make more of those essential pilgrimages to Raleigh and other primary source areas. Good luck!

I’ve always looked at the possibility that William Anderson (d. 1789), Henry (d.1801) and Peter (d.1801) were related. I have not found a shred of evidence pro or con.  But, to speculate, a potential father to one, or all, could possibly be “the Commissioner” (James Anderson) who appears to die around 1762.
