O’ great… another Pitman theory…
The Joseph Pitman who signed the will of William Anderson d. 1789- who was he?
Is it possible he was the half-brother of Anderson? Was Joseph a son of Elizabeth Pitman after she married James Pitman? Did she have sons who received her property around her death by deeds of sale instead of by a will? I’ll just leave the question hanging… for anyone adventurous enough to use my “search box”.
There were several Pitmans involved with her property settlement that I simply cannot connect the puzzle pieces.
